Green rolling hills, fields of yellow flowers, seven hundred year old castles on top of mountains, herds of wandering sheep, steep rock cliffs, a random bike race, hours in the forest, and lots of laughs; so basically, a fairyland.
Cesky Raj translates to Bohemian Paradise, which is appropriately named after the expansive beauty that surrounds this area. By the end of the day, our fun group of NYU Prague students had walked 10 miles, explored two ancient castles, (took 29385 pictures), squeezed through tiny tunnels, and stood on giant rock structures that overlooked the nicest parts of the Czech Republic. 10/10, would recommend.
